JEFF KIMBLE is an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he also serves as the director for both graduate and undergraduate fire programs. Kimble is a life member of the Laurel Fork (VA) Volunteer Fire Department and an instructor with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs. He has a bachelor’s degree in fire safety engineering technology and a master’s degree in industrial training from Eastern Kentucky University. Kimble has also completed the coursework for a doctorate in curriculum and instruction at the University of Kentucky.
