Theron Woody is a 16-year veteran with Cobb County, GA, Fire and Emergency Services. He currently holds the rank of lieutenant and is assigned to Station 4 on the Heavy Rescue Squad. Woody has developed and instructed numerous classes on rescue operations, as well as, a variety of technical rescue classes at all levels of the fire service. He holds instructor certifications in Commercial Driver’s License, Trench Collapse, Confined Space and Structural Collapse. He is a guest instructor for Paratech University and has traveled to Michigan to instruct several trench collapse courses. Woody is also a state instructor proctor for Georgia, and is one of the original creators for the “Dominating the Pin-In” extrication course.
