FIRE 35

Fire 5 is a 1978 Ford F-900 with a 750 water tank and a Darley 750 gpm front mounted pump with "pump and roll" capabilities. In it's former life, it was Engine 82 at the nearby Savoy, IL. Volunteer Fire Department. It now serves the airport in a slightly different role. It carries a re-supply of AFFF for the Crash Rigs and a complement of scene lighting, tools, cribbing, and MCI equipment to support ARFF activities. It also runs on the land side of the airport for fire calls and responds to mutual aid requests.
