The Long View Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2010 Pierce Custom Contender. Features include a Waterous 1500gpm pump with acron removable deck gun, 30gallon Class A Foam Pro System and 1000 gallon  Poly tank with a 6" rear jet dump. The Pumper also has a 10kw Hydraulic generator with 4 750 watt FRC lights and internal ladder and pike pole storage storage. It is powered by a Cummins 400 turbo and Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. On spots have been added for winter weather conditions.
