Showcase: Heavy Rescue Makes Way to Copaigue, N.Y.

A heavy, walk-around rescue is now in service with the Copaigue (N.Y.) Fire Department, built by KME.

The new unit is built on a KME Predator chassis with a 100-inch cab and a 22-inch raised roof and seating for eight. It also has a 16-inch front bumper extension with a built in 12,000-pound Warn winch.

It's also equipped with a Zico roof access ladder, a pto-driven TNT hydraulic rescue tool system with two TNT quad pumps, six Hannay hydraulic rescue reels and two electric reels, a NightScan Optimum light tower with six 1,500-watt light heads, a three-camera ASA Voyager; FRC Optimum lights, an Atlas Copco 5hp air compressor, and a Whelen warning light package.
