Firefighters in Lawrenceburg have a new E-ONE custom pumper in service. It is built on an E-ONE Cyclone II custom cab and chassis with a long cab and 12-inch raised roof.
It's powered by a Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,500-gpm Qmax pump with a 1,030 tank in a rescue pumper body.
Other features include an EMS compartment over the wheel wells of the cab, a 24-inch heavy-duty extended front bumper with two hydraulic hose reels and rescue tool compartment, a fully-enclosed side-mount pump module with roll up doors, Triple speedlays, stokes backboard compartment, and a TFT Hurricane remote control deck gun with an electric Extend-A-Gun.
Other features include roof top storage on the driver's and officer's sides with floor-dry hopper and an electric cord reel, aluminum hosebed cover with a rear Zico access ladder and hard suction storage in the hosebed.
It also has a Weldon Vmux multiplex electrical system with driver's and officer's side Vista control panels, Whelen LED warning lights, a Roto-Ray warning light, Federal Signal Q siren, Whelen traffic advisor and a SmartPower 20,000-watt hydraulic generator that powers a Command Light KL465 light tower in the dunnage area over the pump.
It also has a Amkus 240SS solid state hydraulic rescue tool pump and a Sigtronics intercom system in the cab.
It was sold by Vogelpohl Fire Equipment Inc., in Erlanger, Kentucky.
