Tanker 11 is a new Ferrara Fire Apparatus rig for Perry Clear Creek Fire Protection District, Bloomington, Ind. It is built on a Ferrara Igniter custom cab and chassis powered by a Cummins 500-hp engine.
The cab is a medium length with an 8-inch raised roof, and seating for five in Bostrom SecureALL SCBA seats. It also has an EMS cabinet behind the officer's seat.
Other features include a David Clark intercom system, Intec color backing camera, Insta-Chain automatic tire chains, Whelen scene and warning lights, a Whelen 400 LED auxiliary tank level indicator, and a Fire Research InControl pressure governor.
It also has a Hale Q-Pak pump, 2,000-gallon water tank with a through the tank ladder compartment, spare SCBAs over the rear wheels, running board hose trays, a TFT Extend-A-Gun, a Federal Q2B siren, Fire Research 750-watt brow light, and Fire Research telescopic and flush mount scene lights powered by a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator and a Hannay electric rewind cord reel. On Scene Solutions LED compartment lights make it easier to see items in the rig.
