West Licking, Ohio, Joint Fire District Gets Custom Pumper

The West Licking Joint Fire District in Pataskala, Ohio now has a custom pumper built by Sutphen. It is powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission.

The West Licking Joint Fire District in Pataskala, Ohio now has a custom pumper built by Sutphen. It is powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission.

To fight fire, it has a Waterous pump, a 1,000-gallon tank, 2.5-inch side discharges, as well as a 2.5-inch discharge on the left rear and a 3-inch on the right as well as a deck gun and an 1.5-inch discharge on the front bumper. It also has a six-person cab with a half 10-inch raised roof.

Other equipment includes a Leece Neville 320 amp alternator, a 24-inch extended front bumper, On-Spot tire chains, upper and lower Whelen LED lighting and an Alco-Lite ladder compliment.

The apparatus, which is all aluminum, has an overall length of 32 feet 1 inch.
