East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District located in Palm Harbor, Florida recently purchased a PUC Squad/Pumper manufactured by Pierce.

East Lake Tarpon, Fla., Special Fire Control District located in Palm Harbor, Florida recently purchased a PUC Squad/Pumper manufactured by Pierce. This unit is on the Pierce Impel chassis and powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine, with an Allison transmission. It has a Pierce 1,500-gpm pump, a 500-gallon tank, a Hannay electric cord reel, Will-Burt light tower and a Harrison 10,000-watt generator.

Other equipment includes a cascade system, Whelen scene and warning lights, and a Kussmaul battery charging system.

It was sold by Ten 8 sales representative, John Thompson in Bradenton, Fla.
