Ladder Co. 3, Clifton, NJ, Takes Delivery of New Quint

Clifton, NJ, Ladder Co. 3 has been assigned a 2016 Pierce Arrow XT 75-foot quint. It has a two-stage Hale 1500-gpm pump, 300-gallon water tank, two crosslay hose beds, a pre-connected one-inch trash line from the running board on the officer's side, and a compact pump panel. There is a four-man cab with storage compartment, LED warning and compartment lights plus blue colored LED aerial way lighting and a Harrison 6 kW generator. A 14-foot ladder is attached to the chauffeur's side of the aerial ladder and a stokes basket stored on the officer's side. The aerial has a 1,000-pound tip load-dry. In addition, there is a Detroit Diesel DD 13, 500-hp motor.
