Ross Augusta Fire Department in Augusta, MI, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire Quick Attack built on a Ford F-550 XL 4x4 Super Duty chassis with a 6.7 L 4V OHV Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel B20 Engine. The unit has a 300 Gallon APR Polypropylene tank, an All-Poly Construction body, “sweep-out” style compartments, Including R.O.M. anodized aluminum roll-up doors, door activated LED lighting, vents, and floor dry decking, and a front-transverse compartment. Other equipment includes six Whelen scene lights, Whelen warning and siren package, a 200-foot booster hose reel, a heavy-duty bumper with grille guard, Kussmaul auto charge system with an auto-eject system and SCBA seats.
