Cape Girardeau, MO, Fire Department has taken delivery a pumper, the first of six units ordered from Rosenbauer.

Cape Girardeau, MO, Fire Department has taken delivery a pumper, the first of six units ordered from Rosenbauer. The new pumper is built on a Rosenbauer Commander 4000 MFD cab and chassis powered by a Cummins ISL 450 hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSUC20 1,500 gpm single-stage pump and a ProPoly 750-gallon water tank. Other equipment includes a Will-Burt Night Scan 4500 OPT Profiler light tower with three FRC Optimum 1,500-watt light heads. It's also equipped with a Rosenbauer Greenstar system and an NPPI/Kubota 7,900-watt generator. Other equipment includes a Warn Zeon 10 10,000 pound portable winch with four receivers, R.O.M. roll-up doors and Whelen LED warning lights. The new pumper is part of a six unit order that includes three pumpers, a heavy rescue and an aerial ladder.
