Orange County, CA, Fire Authority Gets Six Rescue, Type 6 Brush Apparatus

Six light rescue squad and Type 6 brush trucks, built by Boise Mobile Equipment, were recently delivered to Orange County, CA, Fire Authority.

Six light rescue squad and Type 6 brush trucks, built by Boise Mobile Equipment, were recently delivered to Orange County, CA, Fire Authority. The trucks were built on four-door, crew cab,  Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 cabs and chassis with diesel engines. The rescue apparatus have aluminum bodies with Extendo-Bed cargo slides and custom longitudinal ladder and basket storage. The brush units also have custom aluminum bodies and Darley/Odin Derringer CAFS fire suppression systems and custom longitudinal top-dunnage compartments for hose, ladder and hard suction storage. They were delivered from BME's Southern California delivery center in Azusa.
