The Ross Township, OH, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom eMAX pumper built by E-ONE.

The Ross Township, OH, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom eMAX pumper built by E-ONE. It's built on an E-ONE Typhoon medium cab powered by a Cummins ISL 450 hp engine and an Allison EVS 3000 transmission. The frame is galvanized and powder coated with a 25-year warranty. It has stainless steel full-height, full-depth driver and officer side compartments and roof top compartments. FRP painted panels provide a 12-year limited paint warranty. To fight fire, it has a 1,500-gpm eMAX pump, a 1030-gallon water tank, and a Hale 2.1A FoamLogix foam system with 30-gallon foam cell. It also has a through tank ladder tunnel for 24-foot 2-section ladder, 14-foot roof ladder and 10-foot attic ladder. Other features include a Smart Power hydraulic 6,000-watt generator with command light tower, Whelen M-Series Super LED warning light package, Whelen Mini-Freedom IV side facing light bars, Federal Signal back-up camera, and modem for use with the E-ONE multiplex electrical system.
