The Marlboro Volunteer Fire Company, Marlboro Township, Monmouth County, NJ, has put in service a 2017 KME Predator Panther pumper. It is equipped with a four-door, six-seat, climate-controlled cab, with raised roof, full-height rear doors. It's powered by a 450 hp Cummins ISL engine and an Allison 3000EVS-P automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX175-21L single-stage pump, a 1,000 gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, Hypro FoamPro system with 25-gallon Class A and 50 gallon Class B foam tanks, It also has an InControl 400 pressure governor, Trident Air Prime, front suctionand discharge, front twin FRC LED brow lights, and FRC LED scene lighting. Other equipment includes a refrigerator, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, slide-out tool trays and boards. Other equipment includes a 6,000-watt Onan generator, rear Amdor shutter, rear facing camera, Hannay electric reel, booster hose reel, ladder tunnel, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren.
