Berwick, ME, Fire Department has recently taken delivery of twin Toyne rescue pumpers.

Berwick, ME, Fire Department has recently taken delivery of twin Toyne rescue pumpers. The trucks are built on Spartan MetroStar cabs and chassis, powered by Cummins ISL 450 hp engines with Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, the trucks are equipped with 1,500-gpm Hale pumps and 1,200-gallon UPF tanks. Other equipment includes Onan 6,000-watt generators, and Fire Research Corp. scene lights.
