A Baltimore County ambulance and police car were struck this week in separate incidents following a two-vehicle crash.

The multiple accidents happened Tuesday afternoon near Hampton, MD, WBAL-TV reports. Initially, police and fire crews had responded to a crash between a car and a tow truck.

While first responders were working at the accident scene, another vehicle tried to pass a fire truck and slammed into an ambulance. Police then arrested the driver of the vehicle, but details weren't released concerning the charges, the TV station said.

Later, a Baltimore County police car was hit by a vehicle. An officer was sitting inside the car when the accident happened, and he was taken to the R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center. The vehicle's driver was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and both individuals' injuries were not life-threatening, WBAL reports.
