Fire Truck Burns in Fiery Crash on GA Highway

The Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services fire engine was a total loss as a result of last weekend's crash.

A Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services fire truck burned after it was struck by a car while at the scene of a highway wreck on Sunday. The engine was a total loss.

According to CBS46 news, fire crews were working on freeing a person from another wreck when another vehicle crashed into the engine. As a result of the impact, the engine quickly became engulfed in flames, the television station reported.

No firefighters were injured and the person who hit the fire truck was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The condition of the victim is unknown.
