A design featuring armed forces members and the symbols of the U.S. military branches now adorn an Orange County fire apparatus in time for Veterans Day.

A Florida fire department has transformed one of its vehicles in order to honor U.S. veterans just in time for Veterans Day.

Orange County firefighter Sotero Martinez III created a graphic design for a department apparatus, WKMG-TV reports. The design incorporates the symbols of the five military branches, as well as beige camouflage. Armed forces members and "In Honor of our Veterans" also adorn the engine.

"We have over 150 members that were members or current members of the military and I think this is a good tribute to them," Andres Perez, president of the Orange County firefighters union, told the TV station.

The union secured private funding for the project, Perez added. The design is expected to last a decade, according to WKMG.
