Based on the voice-of-the-customer, competitive analysis, and HME’s increasing product quality standards, the Company continues its legacy strategy of vertical integration (a sole source OEM for cab/chassis, pump module and body) but has now transitioned to use of industry-accepted sub-systems and sub-components to meet a broader set of customer performance needs and improving overall reliability.

“We are prioritizing and improving HME’s operational excellence so that we meet, and then beat, our customer’s quality expectations,” said Gary Troost, President, HME Ahrens-Fox. “While our focus on operational excellence, product quality and customer support are key, by no means has innovation become secondary at HME. The product development, engineering, validation, testing and production workflows at the Company over the last 18 months have exceeded our historic benchmarks and we’re confident our dealers and customers will see this in the vehicles on display at FDIC,” said Troost.
