Harrison, NJ, Ladder Co. 1 Gets 107-foot Tractor-Drawn Aerial

The Harrison, NJ, Ladder Co. 1 has been assigned a 2018 Pierce Arrow XT tractor-drawn, 107-foot aerial ladder. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 13 525-hp engine and Allison 4500 EVS P transmission. The cab has seating for four occupants and an EMS cabinet. There is a David Clark Universal Radio Interface intercom system, adjustable shelves and slide out/tilt trays, slide-out tool board, transverse compartment which includes stokes basket storage, LED strip lighting, LED turntable walkway and turntable console lighting. There is torque box ladder storage, a Honda EM6500 generator, plus aluminum extruded rub rails on the side of the body. The aerial ladder has 4-inch plumbing with a 5-inch inlet. It has an Akron 3480 electric Stream Master II monitor with extended vertical travel nozzle. The aerial ladder is painted charcoal metallic and there is LED walkway lighting.
