The Palmyra, NJ,  Fire Department has put a 2018 Pierce Velocity 100-foot  mid-mount platform aerial in service. The unit is built on a four-door, six-occupant, climate-controlled cab and chassis powered by a Detroit Diesel DD-13 engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. Other features include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Amdor shutters, Hannay electric reels, Akron Stream Master II ladder discharge, Whelen warning and scene lights and a Federal Q2B siren.
