Fort Lauderdale, FL, Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a 95-foot aerial platform built by Sutphen Corporation.

Fort Lauderdale, FL, Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a 95-foot aerial platform built by Sutphen Corporation. It is built on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom chassis with a 62-inch extended cab with a 10-inch raised roof and seating for six occupants. It's powered by a Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and an Allison Gen 5 EVS 4000 transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm pump and a 300-gallon water tank. Other features include Alco-Lite ladders, a 12-inch polished stainless steel bumper extension, a Federal Q2B siren, Hannay electric cord reels, and a 10,000-watt Harrison Hydra-Gen generator. Additionally, it has Whelen warning lights, FireTech scene lights, Fire Research Corp lights and Akron Brass monitors.
