Dallas Fire Department Takes Delivery of Custom Pumper

Dallas Fire Department has put in service a new pumper built by Spartan ERV. It is built on a Spartan Gladiator cab and chassis powered by a Cummins X15 engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Wateorus CMU 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump, a 500-gallon water tank with a 30-gallon foam cell. It is also equipped with a FoamPro 2002 5-gpm foam system and Whelen warning lights.
