Middlebush Volunteer Fire Department, protecting Franklin Township, NJ, has placed into service a 2018 Spartan ERV pumper.

Middlebush Volunteer Fire Department, protecting Franklin Township, NJ, has placed into service a 2018 Spartan ERV pumper. It is built on a Spartan Gladiator LLFD cab and chassis and powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fires, it has a Hale QMax XS 2,000-gpm pump, a 750-gallon water tank with a 40-gallon foam cell, and a Trident air primer system. Other features include a transverse compartment in the six-occupant cab, three crosslay hose bed, a front discharge gate, a back up camera and cameras on each side and a Harrison Hydra-Gen 10,000-watt generator.
