The Philadelphia Fire Department.has taken delivery of a 2019 Spartan ERV pumper.

The Philadelphia Fire Department.has taken delivery of a 2019 Spartan ERV pumper. It is built on a Spartan Metro Star four-door cab and chassis with seating for six. It is powered by 425-hp Cummins engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CMU 1,500-gpm single-stage pump, a UPF Poly Tank III, a Throttle Excel, and a Trident air primer. It also has R.O.M. shutters, a Federal Signal Q2B siren and a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner.
