Friendship Fire Company, Harpers Ferry-Bolivar, Jefferson County, WV, has taken delivery of a 2019 Pierce Arrow XT pumper-tanker. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU C20D single-stage pump, an 1,800-gallon UPF Poly III tank with a 40-gallon foam cell and a Trident air prime system. Other features include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, 10-inch Newton rear dump valve, a Harrison 6,000-watt Harrison generator, Hannay electric reel, TFT Blitz Fire monitor and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
