The Borough of Franklin, NJ, Volunteer Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2019 Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom pumper.

The Borough of Franklin, NJ, Volunteer Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2019 Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom pumper. It is built on a four-door cab and chassis with seating for eight occupants, a raised roof, climate control and full-height rear door. It is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison Gen 5 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has Hale QMax 175-23 single-stage pump, a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, a Trident air prime system, and Tank Vision Pro water level gauge. It has Advanced Rescue System, Hannay electric reels, Akron Brass deck gun, R.O.M. roll-up doors, a 6,000-watt SmartPower generator, Zico "Quic-Lift" electric ladder rack, a rear facing Safety Vison camera, FRC Spectra LED brow light, Whelen warning lights, TNT tools, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
