Garden City Vol. Fire Co., Nether Providence Township, PA, Gets Custom Pumper

The Pierce pumper has a 2,000-gpm pump and a 750-gallon tank.

Garden City Volunteer Fire Company, Nether Providence Township, PA, has taken delivery of 2019 Pierce Enforcer custom pumper. It is built on a custom four-door, eight-occupant climate controlled cab with a flat roof. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp L9 engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 2,000-gpm pump, a UPF Poly III 750-gallon tank and a Trident air prime system. Other features include an Akron Brass deck gun, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Roto-Ray warning light, Pelican power packs, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
