Illiopolis Fire Department in Illiopolis, IL has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 cab and chassis. It's powered by a Cummins L9 350EV HP engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.To fight fires, it has a Hale MBP 1,000-pto pump and a 2,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank. Other features includes Newton 10-inch square dump valves, one on each side and one on the rear, R.O.M. roll-up doors, Whelen warning and scene lights and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner.
