FL Firefighters Injured in Fatal Apparatus Crash

One person was killed in the accident involving a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue apparatus and another vehicle that sent two firefighters to the hospital.

One person was killed and four people, including two Florida firefighters, were injured in a collision between a fire apparatus and another vehicle Monday.

The accident involved a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue vehicle, and it happened about 9:30 a.m. in Delray Beach, WPTV-TV reports. The crash closed down all lanes of Military Trail between Pipers Glen Boulevard to Flavor Pict Road.

The two Palm Beach County firefighters and two people in the other car were taken to the hospital following the accident. The person who died in the crash was traveling in the other vehicle, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office told WPTV.
