The world around us is an ever-changing venue. This thought came to me the other night as I was watching the Lawrence Welk show on public television. Now for those of you in the know, this should give you the tip that I am just a day or two on the far side of my 21st birthday. Watching this show takes me back to the days when my parents and grandparents would gather around the television at our home on Jerseyville Avenue in Freehold, New Jersey.
