This past week, once again, I spent a great deal of time pondering the problems of the fire service. People are losing their lives in ways that speak of a lack of common sense. I mean there are people out there who should never have died. People are dying under the influence of alcohol, or because of people who are drinking and operating fire trucks. People are being killed during controlled burns. People are dying for property related fires. People are falling out of the back of speeding pickup trucks. Enough is enough my friends, enough already!
