Drill # 55: SCBA Air Management
The author describes a test in which firefighters can learn how long they can operate before the low-air warning on their SCBA goes off and how much time they have after that before they run out of air.
The drill is designed to be a single page of information to conjure up discussions among your crew members. Sit down and talk about the exercises, and how they may apply to your company. But, just don't read them. Get moving. Head to an appropriate area and train.
Post the information in prominent places in your stations so it's readily available for review.
