THE WOLFEBORO, NH, FIRE RESCUE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of an HME side-mount rescue pumper built on an HME 1871-SFO custom chassis powered by a 370-hp Cummins ISL9 engine with an Allison 3000EVS transmission. Components include HME Hydra Technology, a 1,500-gpm Hale Qmax pump, 1,095-gallon water tank, 30-gallon foam tank, Hale FoamLogix 2.1 foam system and eight-kilowatt Smart Power generator.

AMERICAN REFINING GROUP of Bradford, PA, has taken delivery of a Sutphen foam pumper built on a Kenworth T-440 chassis powered by a 450-hp Paccar PX-9 engine. The apparatus features a 2,000-gpm Hale 8FG pump, National Foam Servo Command foam system, 1,000 gallon foam tank, two 500-gpm Task Force Tips Blitzfire nozzles, an Elkhart 2,000-gpm deck gun, 1,000 feet of five-inch supply hose and 350 feet of three-inch supply hose. It carries a 4,000-kilowatt portable generator, scene lights and EMS, hazmat and confined-space/rope-rescue equipment.
