Wilmington, Delaware City Fire Department loses Rescue 1

Just as Nero fiddled as Rome burned, so gos it in the city of Wilmington, Delaware.

As you know, Delaware is the "first state"; now, certainly not first in the Fire Service. Thanks to the mayor, as of January 1, 2011, Delaware is the only state in the nation, not having a paid, career staffed, 24/7 heavy rescue in their fire department.
