Fire departments are encouraged to join the partnering organizations of the Step Up and Stand Out program for a webinar at 2:00 pm ET on Tuesday, March 29. The webinar Volunteer Recruitment and Community Engagement will explain the program and community engagement and volunteer recruitment and retention tips. One of the goals of the campaign is to encourage departments nationwide to conduct community events to attract new volunteers.

The webinar will also detail how you can nominate one of your volunteers (firefighter or support volunteer) to receive recognition for their dedicated service, exceptional performance and leadership.
