Webinar: Step Up and Stand Out Volunteer Recruitment and Recognition Campaign

The webinar will detail how you can nominate a volunteer for the Step Up and Stand Out campaign.

Fire departments are encouraged to join the partnering organizations of the Step Up and Stand Out program for a webinar at 2:00 pm ET on Tuesday, March 29. The webinar Volunteer Recruitment and Community Engagement will explain the program and community engagement and volunteer recruitment and retention tips. One of the goals of the campaign is to encourage departments nationwide to conduct community events to attract new volunteers.

The webinar will also detail how you can nominate one of your volunteers (firefighter or support volunteer) to receive recognition for their dedicated service, exceptional performance and leadership. Video nominations are due by May 21, 2016. For full contest rules and the exciting prize packages, visit the official contest nomination page. Five finalists and one grand-prize winner will be chosen.
