MANCHESTER, OH—A volunteer firefighter has been arrested and charged with arson after he was accused of setting fire to a vacant building, according to reports.

WCPO Channel 9 reports that Dakotah Mingee, 19, is accused of setting fire to the building on a remote road in Adams County. He pleaded no contest to one count of fourth-degree arson Monday, Fox 19 reports. He was released after posting 10 percent of a $25,000 bond.

Investigators did not release a motive for the fire, Fox 19 reports. The building was destroyed.

Mingee was a volunteer with the Manchester Fire Department. Chief James Bowman tells The Informer that Mingee admitted to setting several fires in recent months. Mingee has been fired, Bowman tells the Informer.

Manchester is located on the Ohio River, about 70 miles east of Cincinnati.
