Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada Announce Addition of New Board Members

The Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada recently announced the addition of two new members to their executive board.

LAS VEGAS – The Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada recently announced the addition of two new members to their executive board. Bill Gardner, of North Las Vegas, is the Southern District Vice President representing North Las Vegas Local 1609, Boulder City Local 5073, Mt. Charleston Local 4621 and Pahrump Valley Local 4068. Kevin Stengel, of Clark County, is the Southern District Vice President representing Clark County Local 1908.

“We are proud to announce the addition of our new executive board members,” said Angelo Aragon, president of Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada. “Both Kevin and Bill are strong leaders that will represent and aid their designated Locals in an effort to better serve our members across the state of Nevada. These two men bring ample experience and expertise to the PFFN and we look forward to continued success for our members with their assistance.”

In addition to fulfilling his duties within Local 1607 and PFFN, Gardner is the founding board member of the Nevada Chapter of the Terry Farrell Firefighter’s Fund, an organization which aids fire fighters and their families in times of need. He is also the snare drummer for IAFF Local 1607 Honor Guard and the Las Vegas Police and Fire Emerald Society.

Outside of his work for the PFFN, Stengel is a member of the Clark County Fire Department’s Peer Support Team and is on the Fire Fighters Cancer Network. He is also an executive board member for the southern Nevada Central Labor Council and is the vice president for the Nevada State ALF=CIO Board.
