Firefighters from Saudi Arabia are finishing up a fellowship program with a South Carolina fire department in which they learned about firefighting in the United States.

Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue hosted seven firefighters from Saudi Aramco Fire Protection, an oil and gas company, during the six-month program, WCBD-TV reports. The fire department was one of 13 in the country that was chosen to participate in the fellowship.

"{I)t’s a great honor to have them out here, and I think we learned from them as much as they learned from us," Myrtle Beach Lt. Jonathan Evan told the TV station.
