Many two-tone paging systems used by emergency responders experience limitations due to range or topography of their coverage area. eDispatches is able to capture your dispatch audio and deliver it to both cell phones or landlines using a variety of delivery options. Nearly all of our services do not require dispatch involvement and your dispatch center does not need to be notified the eDispatches system has been deployed. We offer a variety of alerting methods to cover all styles of phones.
Our most robust alerting feature is for Android and iPhone users utilizing our applications. We offer this as a free download to our clients. Once registered on our system, the app will allow your device to operate very much like a voice pager with replay capability. Various alerting methods include audible and vibrate alert are configurable by the user. These apps also include integrated mapping and routing without dispatch interaction as well as live streaming dispatch audio to continue to listen to your frequency after a call or whenever.
Voice Notification is an alerting option that simultaneously calls your recipients and plays your dispatch audio when the phone is answered. If you miss the phone call, a voice mail containing the full dispatch will be left automatically. Best of all, this feature works with landlines and mobiles.
Text Notification was our very first service offering and remains popular today. Using this service, recipients receive a text message indicating that an emergency dispatch has occurred. The text message then presents two options-a hyperlink and a hotline phone number. Smartphone users are able to press the hyperlink and the dispatch will play automatically. Basic phone users call the hotline to replay their dispatch.
CAD Relay & Mapping will send you a text containing your dispatcher's CAD message and includes the ability to show the call location if your member is using a smart phone. This feature does require integration with your CAD system which must have specific capabilities. Many CAD systems have this feature already integrated. eDispatches CAD relay will require some dispatch involvement if deployed.
Our mass messaging component allows users the ability to send their own messages to the department via a Priority Text Message or Priority Blast Voice Message. The Priority Text Message is free and included with any package for unlimited use. Message one, several, all or specific groups you predetermine via our app or web portal. Priority Blast Voice messaging is a small additional charge. This allows the department to record a message into our app or any phone line with an access code. They are prompted to record a message which can be sent out to the people that are selected. Predetermined groups made up by the admin make this an easy process for specific mass messages. Many clients use this as a back-up to dispatch in the event of a radio system failure.
