Nicholas Rossomando, 35, of New Springville of Staten Island. Survived by mother, Barbara, sister, Donna, brothers, Chris & Peter and niece Angela, and nephews Carmine & Anthony.
Nick was a member of the fire department for 5 years. He was the first person to be brought to Rescue 5 with that little experience. He was working "the job of his dreams". He was a devoted sports fan who competed in football, ice hockey and roller hockey. Nick was also a very skilled carpenter who owned his own business doing finished carpentry on Staten Island.
Nick's lasting memory will always be his ability to light up a room with his smile and roll up his sleeves to help his friends. He had a lot of them.
