Joe Farrell is a sudden cardiac arrest survivor who was resuscitated with CPR and an AED. A year earlier, Farrell, who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, provided CPR to save a life. His passion for Sudden Cardiac Arrest survival has led him to become the director of the Pulse Point Foundation. The foundation helped create the Fire Department 2.0 iPhone app http://firedepartment.mobi that locates the nearest AED in an emergency. He, along with his wife, started the Heartsafe Committee and they have become AHA CPR instructors.
