KEITH ADDIE has been a firefighter for more than 22 years and has been photographing fire scenes for more than 15 years. He started firefighting in 1991 as a volunteer with the Avenel Fire Department in Woodbridge Township, NJ, where he rose through the ranks to become chief in 2003. Addie is currently a career firefighter with the Maplewood Fire Department in Essex County, NJ, where has served for more than 12 years. He is a New Jersey state-certified fire instructor and teaches at the Middlesex County Fire Academy.
