KIMBERLY QUIROS is director of communications for the National Volunteer Fire Council (nvfc.org), the leading national organization representing the interests of the volunteer fire, emergency medical and rescue services. In this role, she focuses on many critical issues facing the fire and emergency services, including health and safety, recruitment and retention, grants and funding, and reputation management. Quiros has a master’s degree in public communication.
