ANTHONY BOMPADRE is a captain in the Philadelphia, PA, Fire Department (PFD) and a 15-year member of the fire service. He spent his first five years with the Upper Darby Fire Department, a combination department in Delaware County, PA. Bompadre has served as a firefighter, lieutenant and captain in the PFD, working in both engine and ladder companies throughout various parts of the city and is currently assigned to Engine 25 in Kensington. As a lieutenant, he served as an instructor and class coordinator for fire cadet classes at Philadelphia’s Fire Training Academy. Bompadre is an IFSAC/Pro-Board certified Fire Instructor III and Fire Officer IV and he holds a master’s degree in public safety administration from Saint Joseph’s University.
