I began my fire service career in 2006 as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter for Rural/Metro at Sikorsky Aircraft in West Palm Beach, Florida. While there I was in charge of training, conducting many training classes and setting up drills for the shift. I was also tasked with creating and running a fire prevention program for the Sikorsky Aircraft facility. In 2008, at the rank of ARFF/Operator, I left Rural/Metro Sikorsky, and went to work for Martin County to pursue a career path in fire prevention, where I currently serve as Fire Inspector. I maintain memberships in the, Florida Fire Marshal’s and Inspectors Association (FFMIA), the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention (FACAP), and the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters International (FCFI).
