Firehouse.com introduces our newest offering from Ron Moore and the University of Extrication online. This new interactive multi-media training segment known as "You Make The Call" allows you and your crew members to test your extrication decision-making skills in a dynamic new onlineformat.

Within each "You Make The Call" case study exercise, you will review selected images of actual vehicle crashes and then make a 'decision' by answering a training question presented within the scenario. After properly completing the question, you are allowed to learn more about the scenario along with viewing more images from the crash. At each stage of the incident, you are given the circumstances of the incident and asked to 'Make The Call'.

It's an ideal training format for your Command officers, extrication personnel, EMS responders and the always present 'Monday Morning Quarterbacks' of your department. This online presentation allows everyone to discuss and ponder what you would do if this crash were yours to deal with. It's just like being there except the action freezes until you 'Make The Call'.

Welcome to "You Make The Call". Firehouse.com hopes you enjoy these innovative training presentations.

The accompanying University of Extrication Message Forum allows for direct interaction with Forum Moderator Ron Moore and others participating in this case study. Your questions about the call, group discussion and further explaination of each incident is available through the message threads.

Upon the conclusion of each case study, rescue solutions and real-world final outcomes are presented so all participants may understand how each specific incident unfolded in real life.
