Part Time Paid Departments

Does anyone know of a metro-area FD that has a part time program. I know Roseville Fire is set up that way (12 hour tours and no residency requirement), but are there any other depts around that are similar? I have a buddy that just moved up from Iowa and is looking for a part-time position but Roseville is too far of a drive for him.

Plymouth has a paid duty crew. I do believe they require their firefighters to live within 20 or 30 minutes of the city center. Check the city's website.

plymouth want you to live with in 5mins of a Station and they are also paid on call. check out www.firerecruit.com i saw some minnesota listings there most were paid on call etc..
