one test, multiple departments

Maybe somebody who knows more than me can chime in here

I know there are some departments in the virginia area where if you take the written test for one, you don't have to take written for the others.

I took fairfax's, anybody know where else the fairfax test might count for?

Sorry, but have never heard of Fairfax's test being used by other departments in the region. Perhaps elsewhere in the state, it is failry large. But here, Fairfax uses Fairfax's test, Arlington uses theirs, Alex uses theirs, etc. Sorry to burst your bubble

fairfax's test doesnt work anywhere. but, some do work elsewhere. for example i used my arlington test in prince william.
